What is the Global Goals Jam?

The Global Goals Jam is a unique collaborative experience where participants work in teams to explore complex social, environmental, and economic issues — and design actionable, innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – the “Global Goals”. No prior design experience is required — just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate!

Participants will be supported throughout the day by experienced mentors and experts, design tools and methodologies, and hands-on facilitated changemaking stages.

This year's Jam challenge areas

​Come advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and design innovative soluions to tackle 5 pressing global challenges:

1. Sustainable Transportation & Low-Carbon Mobility – Rethinking how people and goods move in low-carbon, equitable ways.
2. Health Equity & Wellbeing – Advancing fair access to health and wellbeing for all communities.
3. Sustainability Education & Education for Sustainable Development – Embedding sustainability knowledge, skills, and values into education systems.
4. Food Justice & Sustainable Food Systems – Ensuring fair access to healthy, sustainable food.
5. Circular Economy & Responsible Consumption – Designing systems that reduce waste and keep resources in use.
